Did Liam Payne have the hardest soft launch ever?
We hope you had a great start to your week and enjoy this late night Monday edition.
In this week's letter, there are some great reads to peruse in Too Many Tabs and two highly anticipated singles to add to your rotation.
Daysia writes about how Liam Payne's newest relationship broke on Instagram and Hannah works on her list of the finest men (important work). Plus, both of our wishes from last week's letter came true!
We'll be back again later this week.
Happy reading,
<3

This Week's Fixations
Daysia: Imagine this: I log onto Twitter a week ago, see this tweet, and let out a screech.
You’re telling me Liam Payne cheated on Maya Henry and the woman posted it on her public Instagram Story??? And the stans accidentally exposed Payne because they mistook the woman for Henry?
Apparently not, although that’s what Henry’s comment made it seem like. According to People, the couple broke up about a month ago, but Henry’s reference to Payne as her fiancé suggested he was unfaithful. Unsurprisingly, swaths of Directioners rushed to Payne’s defense and got #FreeLiam trending within hours. Many of them called Henry a liar and a beard, while others blamed his management team for… spreading a false narrative about him?
It is not easy to be a One Direction girlfriend. It never has been! They deal with so much hate. While Henry’s comment may have been misleading, it must suck to be tagged in a photo of your recent ex-fiancé cozying up to another woman. Sure, it’s within Payne’s right to move on as quickly as he wants. However, it would be hurtful for anyone to see their ex with someone else a month after the breakup! Especially when you're as young as Henry (21) and this is (presumably) your first serious relationship.
Luckily, it looks like she's doing alright, since she's out in London taking some iconic post-breakup pap walks. Girlie is determined to get out of this breakup on top!
In other news, I did make it into the Harry’s House pop-up on the last day (in the last hour, even!). I spent way too much money, but at least I got this photo out of it!
Hannah: Readers, I'm writing to you now as a changed woman because after nearly two years I finally got to watch Top Gun: Maverick. I don't want to say too much since it's still early and don't want to spoil things for anyone; however, I will say it met my extremely high expectations. At the moment, I can't think of a better-executed sequel. My one complaint was that Manny Jacinto could have had a lot more screen time.
Speaking of Manny Jacinto who I classify as a Very Fine Man, I was inspired by Hanna Phifer's tweet to think about my own list of Finest Men Ever.

While I do think there is a lot of overlap between this list and mine I think there are a few that I would replace (don't ask me where though because I don't know where they would go!).
But on my list is definitely Manny Jacinto (as mentioned above), Austin Butler, Dev Patel, and Rege Jean Page.
Who is on your list?
Has Lorde Dropped a New Album?
