What pop culture moment are you thankful for this week?

This Week's Fixations
Daysia: There’s so much to be thankful for this week! For one, I’ve largely stayed offline to spend time with family 💖 a Thanksgiving miracle!
In the pop culture sphere, here are the heartwarming moments that I’m thankful for this week: Adele reuniting with her English teacher, the one-year anniversary of Plastic Hearts (Grammy snub, but we focus on the positive today!), and Andrew Garfield’s perspective on grief.

And of course some not-so-heartwarming, trashy-in-the-best-way moments I’m thankful for this week: Kim K giving Pete Davidson a hickey (fueling my skepticism over their whole relationship), Kevin Jonas: the ever-forgotten JoBro, Cousin Greg suing Greenpeace and sparing Save the Children, and the insanely evil Christine Quinn (this quote ☠️) 🖤
“The only reason I show up to work is for my fans, to inspire people and have someone go, Wow, I see myself in that person. That’s really what’s important to me. It’s not because I like working with these b*tches,” says #SellingSunset’s @XtineQuinnthecut.io/30WuImI

Hannah: I love a good seasonal/holiday episode, especially when TV series make them a thing. A perfect example is Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Halloween heist episodes which ultimately lead up to Jake proposing to Amy in season 5 (I guess spoiler alert but also this happened in 2017 so I really don't feel like I need to say it).
Brooklyn Nine-Nine also does have some pretty memorable Thanksgiving episodes, including "Lockdown" and "Two Turkeys."
The former is what happens while Jake is in charge of the precinct resulting in true pandemonium as a whole range of characters get trapped in the precinct. Probably would not recommend rewatching this one anytime soon just because we are still likely recovering from various lockdowns over the last two years.
"Two Turkeys" is the best because it gives us a mini West Wing reunion with Bradley Whitford and Jimmy Smits, play Jake and Amy's fathers, respectively.
Speaking of iconic guest stars, as parents of main characters, let us not forget New Girl Thanksgiving episodes with Peter Gallagher as Schmidt's dad and Rob Reiner and Jamie Lee Curtis as Jess' parents. If awards for guest stars were a thing I feel like New Girl would definitely win them all, I mean they had Prince as a guest star!
Also despite it not occurring in a Thanksgiving episode I feel like the fictional drinking game "True American" equals Thanksgiving in my mind. And the best one (and also the one that explains the rules, kind of?) is from season 1 with cellist, star-of-several-movies-with-"wedding"-in-the-title Dermot Mulroney (another iconic guest!).
Finally, let us not forget about The O.C.'s Thanksgiving episode in season 1. As always, just doing the most!

Solar Power sadly received 0 Grammy noms 😔
ICYMI: Little Mix’s music video for “No” is iconic. Give me one of those tracksuits!
